Projects Engineer

Cintrix Systems are seeking a Projects Engineer with experience of installing and commissioning fire and/or security systems, to join our team and to undertake a challenging and rewarding role within our expanding business.

The candidate will be expected to primarily carry out the project management, installation and commissioning fire and security systems. In addition the candidate will be expected to carry out corrective and preventative maintenance to ensure that the engineer reaches their full potential. The role has scope for career progression towards system design and management for suitable candidates. The role will also require exposure to quality management through the project and documentation requirements of BAFE and NACOSS accreditations. The candidate will be expected to be fully experienced in either fire alarm systems or security systems or both. However training in fire or security can be provided.

Cintrix Systems provide 24-hour support to our customers, so inclusion on to the on-call rota is required.

The ideal candidate must have at least 4 year’s commercial experience working on installation and commissioning within the fire or security alarm industry and possess detailed experience of one of the disciplines.

The ideal candidate must have a flexible approach to work, be self-motivated and possess an excellent attitude to customer service. Must be able to present engineering written reports and comply with all company procedures. A full UK driving licence and no criminal record are essential as screening to BS 7858 will be required.

The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year’s commercial experience working as a Systems Engineer within the fire or security alarm industry and would ideally possess experience of installation and/or maintenance of fire alarm systems.

Security Systems Engineer
