Design

For optimal system performance and compliance with the current standards, it is essential that any fire alarm system is designed by competent people who have sound knowledge of BS 5839.

All of our Design Engineers have proven experience and industry training in fire safety and detection being BAFE approved for the design of fire alarm systems.

Cintrix Systems will liaise with the client and carry out surveys of the premises to determine the exact requirements of the system design. Once the requirements and category of the system have been determined, we will design and certify the system to meet the client’s requirements and current regulations.

Installation and Commissioning

From small conventional fire alarm systems to complex networked addressable systems, Cintrix Systems will install and commission your fire alarm system to your requirements and to the current British Standards.

We guarantee all our work and will ensure that you are completely satisfied with any work carried out on your premises. All our work will be certified to BS 5839-1.

It is important that all installation work is carried out safely to protect not only our employees but also to protect any persons affected by our works. We are accredited by CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme). CHAS annually assesses our health and safety competency and procedures to ensure that we understand and comply with current health and safety legislation. Therefore, our customers can be sure that we are highly capable to carry out installation work safely.

Maintenance

BAFE LogoRegular maintenance and testing of fire safety and detection equipment is not only important for your business but is now a legal requirement. It is vital that regular testing be undertaken to ensure that there has not been a major failure of the system that may otherwise go unnoticed.

BS 5839-1 (the British Standard for fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings) recommends that the period between visits to undertake inspection and service of fire alarm systems should be based upon a risk assessment, but the maximum period between visits should not exceed six months.

BS 5839 also recommends that the inspection and servicing should be undertaken by competent organisations. Cintrix Systems are BAFE approved for the maintenance of fire detection systems.

We offer flexible maintenance packages to suit your business needs. Our fire alarm maintenance package will ensure that your system is both compliant and safe.
